IKAWE Moov help
How to adjust Moov's front light and set up the buttons
Change IKAWE Moov's front light brightness and warmth with the on-screen slider or the + and − buttons, and set up shortcuts for the page-turn buttons.
Updated
In short
- Moov's front light has two settings, brightness and warmth, which you change on screen with a slider or by tapping + and −.
- The left and right page-turn buttons have no shortcuts by default; you can set them up in Settings.
Change brightness and warmth
Both Moov Lite and Moov Pro have a front light that lights the page from its edges, so you can read in the dark. You control it on screen:
- Brightness: drag the slider, or tap + to increase and − to decrease.
- Warmth: drag the slider towards warm for an amber tone, or tap + and − to step it.
Tapping + and − is handy for small, precise steps; the slider is quicker for big changes.
Light settings that work well
- Daytime: you may not need the light at all. E-ink reflects light like paper, so it's easy to read outdoors.
- Evening and bed: turn brightness down and warmth up, for a soft amber page.
- Battery: a lower brightness makes each charge last longer. See battery and charging.
Page-turn buttons and shortcuts
Moov has a page-turn button on the left and right sides, plus a power button. Turn pages with either button or by tapping the screen, whichever suits the hand you're holding it in.
There are no button shortcuts by default, so nothing happens by accident. If you'd like the buttons to do more, set up shortcuts in Settings.
